Unstuck is an online planner for middle and high school students. It breaks big assignments into manageable steps, spreads the work across the days before a deadline, and brings everything that needs attention today into one place.
I have two kids, 16 and 13. Two very different brains, two very different approaches to school, and one shared problem: we couldn’t find a planner that actually worked.
We tried them all: plain ones, ADHD-friendly ones, colorful ones, even an expensive custom one. Some got left at school, on the kitchen counter, and once on a sports field. None solved the hard part. They were glorified to-do lists, a place where due dates went to die.
After watching good kids struggle with systems that weren’t working for them, I decided this school year to stop looking for the perfect planner and make one that worked the way my kids did.
I kept coming back to one question: Why can’t a student planner actually help a student plan?
Writing down an assignment is easy enough. Figuring out what to do first, when to start, and how to fit it all in around everything else? That’s the hard part.
So I created Unstuck: a planner flexible enough for two kids who approach school very differently, but with the same need for a clearer path through the work. And I realized that if it could help my kids, it could probably help a lot of others, too.
Executive function isn’t just an ADHD thing. Lots of students need help organizing tasks, managing time and figuring out what comes next.
The goal? Kids who feel more in control, fewer last-minute scrambles, and calmer evenings for the whole family. Less chasing, more breathing room.

From my very particular 16-year-old daughter, the first time she saw Unstuck turn a big assignment into manageable steps, each with a place on the calendar. I knew I was onto something.
